Donna feels very fortunate to work in the field she loves; Personal Finance.
Her duties include
- Comprehensive Financial Planning, using state-of-the-art software and systems to address all areas of financial planning, specifically focusing on the individual goals of our clients.
- Situational Financial Planning, that project cash flows and identifies feasible scenarios. This is ideal for Clients in transition (such as those starting a family or other life change) or those approaching retirement.
- On-boarding processes that capture vital information, identify objectives, and services to be provided.
In the role of Advisor Support, Donna is heavily involved in the financial planning process and day-to-day tasks for Alpha clients. Using goal-based strategies, Donna is able to effectively create financial plans that best meet our client’s needs, using a team approach.
Donna holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University. She is currently completing her coursework at the University of Georgia, Terry School of Business, to obtain her CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation.
Donna grew up in Connecticut and enjoyed an interesting career in law enforcement in the New York Metropolitan area, before relocating to Savannah. Attracted to the warm weather and southern hospitality, she had called Savannah home since 2002. Upon relocating to Savannah, Donna was recruited by Marriott hotels as a Security Consultant and eventually opened several hotels and progressed into Operations Management. Pursuing a lifelong personal interest in financial management, Donna left the hospitality industry and began working in the financial industry. She joined the Alpha team in April of 2013, under the mentorship of Iris Dayoub.
In search of even warmer weather, Donna relocated to Southwest Florida in June of 2016. Donna continues to work with all of Alpha’s clients, as well as with Clients nationwide and internationally. She is also involved with the local chapter of the Financial Planners Association (FPA).
In her free time, Donna, and her significant other Jason, enjoy any activity on the water. They especially enjoy boating, snorkeling the clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico, stand-up paddle boarding, and swimming. When not on the water, she enjoys reading, meditation, yoga and spending time with friends, family and her pets Sasha, Snuf, Scotty and Sanibel.
